Fair Oak Farm-Blogger weekend

This weekend we have headed back to one of my favourite places in the UK, we have been lucky enough to have previously stayed here twice before. We are over the moon when we were invited back to Fair Oak farm. This time I decided to leave the hubby at home and bring along my two nieces (Nellie and Bea) and Savannah. So the weekend was going to full of face masks films and giggles.

Fair Oak Farm is set in the beautiful surroundings of Mayfield which is absolutely stunning and as you drive through the country lanes you start to enjoy the area and relax. Since our last visit a new boutique treatment room has been added which is situated near the pond and fits in perfectly with the other huts and surroundings. The treatment room is so well designed to keep in with the rest of the estate you feel instantly relaxed. If your due to visit make sure to take full advantage of the massages, nail treatments and facials.

We were so glad to see the local resident's hadn't moved on and the children loved feeding them (peacocks) with oats and food from their hands. It took a little longer for the little ones to get brave enough to do so but before we left they did. They really do add to the atmosphere and make the estate feel very magical.

The kids spent most of the weekend either in the cinema room or on the zip wires, I managed to spend time reading magazines, catching up on some blogs and generally relaxing. The whole estate is designed to make you make the most of your time and really enjoy yourselves. I managed to do this as the kids were just so content and happy, they really can just run around and be children which is fabulous as they don't get that much freedom these days. We enjoyed a picnic outside ( a little nippy but they insisted) and an easter egg hut, another thing they wanted to do.

On the Saturday night we teamed up with some off the other guests kids and all set up camp in the main barn and watched the Goonies on the big projector. Whist my sister and I drank, ate cookies and drank a cheeky cider! Pure bliss.

If you are looking to visit you can either hire the whole estate or certain parts of the accommodation for up to 36 guests. Included in the whole estate you would get included private parking for up to 15 cars, games barn with ping pong table, cinema room, main barn (great for a party, dinner party, bar area, fresh linen and towels, fully equipped kitchen, kids play area, zip wire and lots of beautiful land. Not to mention the deers, peacocks & alpacas. They can even organise a hot tub to be hired for a extra cost.

If you decide to venture out of the estate (which I really don't think you will want to as there is plenty to do on site) there are lovely local places to visit such as the picturesque village of Mayfield, which boast lots of lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. If you want to go a little further you can head to the spa town of Tunbridge Wells with its historic Pantiles.
