PINK Vanilla Events
Just over a month ago I was invited along to an event in Essex by the lovely Pink Vanilla Events. Now I hadn't heard much about them before, but after speaking to Carly from carlyhaypa who was getting a table full of bloggers to the event i felt excited to see what it involved. The idea behind the event is to get tables of 10 ladies together to enjoy a afternoon of Prosecco, cakes and entertainment and I wasn't going to say no to that. Previously Pink Vanilla Event's have organised Pink stilletto nights and they have gone down a hoot,
and this is their next venture.
We pulled up in my little mini with the roof down and looked like we had been pulled through a hedge backwards but feeling very excited to have a afternoon free to sit and enjoy some entertainment and not have a toddler to deal with. We were greeted at the entrance to the amazing grounds of the Rayleigh Club Essex by not one but two strapping young men( butlers in the buff, they had trousers on!) pouring us glasses of Prosecco, I unfortunately was designated driver (bad move on my behalf). I quickly ran to the loo's as felt very under dressed and popped on some red lipstick & a pair of hoops, that should do the trick. The room was full of women dressed up ready for a special event and most of them were celebrating birthdays or hen dos. We were shown to the table and introduced ourselves to the other ladies and started tucking into the amazing cakes and treats that were brought over by the buff waiters. After lots of chatting and drinking and taking sly pics of the butlers, some very clever and creative entertainment was provided (I won't ruin the surprise) whilst the staff and butlers carried on making sure everyone had more than enough to drink and eat. After the entertainment we were left to enjoy the rest of the day and dance and drink whilst the DJ played some tunes. The whole event finishes at five which is fab as a lot of the ladies then were going of to restaurants or clubs later on to celebrate even more. We decided to head home and managed to return home just in time to pop the kids to bed.
The whole day was full of giggles and would be absolutely fab for a hen do, birthday, baby shower or even just a just an afternoon of merriment with your favourite girls. I highly recommend making sure you go to have a good time and enjoy the prosseco. When I return I will definitely be drinking. So grab your girlies and get to Essex as they sell out fast!
